Attn Teachers: Scholastic Warehouse Book Sale

Have any of you gone and is it worth it to go? I would like to go to it as I think it starts next week but I want to know if it is worth it considering it's an hour away from me. Thoughts?

Re: Attn Teachers: Scholastic Warehouse Book Sale

Cocoa, I've had kids write checks for Scholastic & it was for Troll books. That should be fine.

What are the details for the sale....where/when/time?

Thanks

Hi.
I work for Scholastic..don't know anything about the warehouse sale, but as far as Troll goes, Scholastic acquired them. So, technically Scholastic owns them now.

The check can be made to Scholastic.

Re: Attn Teachers: Scholastic Warehouse Book Sale

I've been to them and they can be great or you can leave having found next to nothing good. It's only for teachers, school staff, or book fair volunteers. The warehouse is in Deer Park. The prices are fabulous and this sale is a big clearance. In Dec. they had the usual 50% off but this is a clearance with nothing over $5!!! I've gotten some great teacher trade books, book kits, board books, and all sorts of kids books. They usually have a TON of stuff! I think I'll be going to this one too. Here's the flyer!

Re: Attn Teachers: Scholastic Warehouse Book Sale

I went a couple of weeks ago...all of the books were 1/2 off. You have to search a little but it's worth it. They also have a section where all books are soft cover books $1.00 and hard covers are $3.00. I think its definitely worth the trip.
