What were your favorite flavors that you tasted?

What did you go with at your wedding?

Did you do any of the upgrade flavors (filling, flavors with additional fees, etc)

I'm picking up a tasting package Memorial Day weekend that consists of Red Velvet, Carrot Cake, Chocolate Chip Vanilla Cream and Hazelnut Sponge Cake for flavors. Fillings I'm tasting are whipped cream, Vanilla French Pastry Cream, Couer La Creme and Chocolate Mousse.

We're getting a four tier included with our catering package but I'm afraid of loving all the 'additional fee' flavors!!

I had also wanted to set up an appointment for the tasting and talk about our design at the same time. But they did not want to set up an appointment unless I was ready to order. I think I'm going to push for an appointment because I won't be back again till July!

We had a few of the traditionals at our food tasting and everything was great. The red velvet was good, IMO same as the chocolate except for the color. We liked the cannoli and tiramisu filling too, but I just think a bit too specialized for everyone. I think we are doing chocolate cake, one layer raspberry, and one whipped cream. No upgrades on the flavors, plus we are doing a Viennese hour, so want a pretty basic cake. Instead I will be upgrading the decor. We are doing fondant as our only other option as summer brides is buttercream (and my dad despises it!).

The tasting package sounds great!
