Aug Brides ???

I would like to know how far u guys have gotten because I have a feeling that I am behind schedule

Danielle and I are getting married august 14th 2004. So far we booked the Hall, DJ, Photographer and videographer. Next up we need to get the rabbi and the priest.

What have you gotten done so far?

Aug 6, 2004 for me. I have booked everything except the Limos. I do want a few extras thtough. I think you are the girl that knows the steel drums I did everything because I work at a school and a night school as well and I know that I wouln't have any time. But now I am board and I just throw out my new mags that come in. I didn't choose the BM dresses yet, and it is driving my CRAZY!!!!! I was supposed to send out my STD and I didn't yet. I got to get moving on them!!! But don't think you are behind you are on target, when I went and booked some things the venders were like, WOW your doing things early. so I do not know what is the estimated time to get things done. Sorry this is long

We are getting married 8/14/04 and we have gotten our photographer, D.J, reception ,church, and my dress. we still have to get our wedding bands, limos, and florist. we also had our Eparty in april.

Hi ladies
I am getting married on 8/21 and yes I am the girl with the friend that plays steel pan.We have the reception hall, DJ, video and photographer. I still need everyones dresses,our wedding bands,florist,and most importantly a church. My uncle is doing thew limos and my friends mom is taking care of the honeymoon night

I'm also August 21st and I've done church, reception, DJ, florist, invitations, photographer, honeymoon, favors, veil, tiara and dress. I still need to book limos, videographer, bm dresses, wedding bands, tuxedos, figure out where I'm going to get hair and makeup done and send out the STD's. I'm sure I have a million little things to do as well. When are you ladies going to send yours out? I also like to get things done early, mostly because I'm trying to pay things off slowly so that it isn't too much of a strain a few months before the wedding.

I'm August 7, 2004.
We booked the following:
Hall....Band....Church....Limos....Florist

I bought my gown.....

Picked bridesmaid dresses...but didnt bring my girls in for their measurments.

In October I would like to book honeymoon, buy favors and gifts for bridal party.

Then I have to think about what's next!!

Do you have to book your honeymoon so early?? We werent going to do it until next year....We are planning on going on a cruise out of NY to Bermuda....My cousin works for cruisesonly.com and he said he would get us a great package.

No, you don't have to book your honeymoon so early. It seems to me from reading other posts that most people book between 4 - 12 month before their wedding. My fiance and I knew exactly where we wanted to go so that is why we booked it so early.

Hi Girls. Frank and I are getting married on 8/28/04. We booked the hall, chuch, dj, photo, videographer, bought our rings, bridesmaids gifts, placecard holders and pretty much narrowed down our honeymoon, will book soon. Still have a long way to go....Need my dress, bridesmaids dresses, florist, groomsmen gifts, hair, makeup, favors, invitations, tuxes, limos, ect, ect.

seeing florist this weekend

that's about it. right now I am workingon on invitations because I have realized that I am OBSESSED with them. funny thing is I know people just throw them away....but it matters to me.

Well, I am way behind. We are up in the air right now about the reception hall. We have it narrowed down to two places. We will have one of them booked by this weekend. August 21 for us. If that is not available we will go with the 28th.

My reception is on August 21st. We only have the hall, church and band. I am currently working on my dress and the bridesmaid dresses. What should I concentrate on next? flowers, photography, etc??? I'm very overwhelmed!

I AM GETTING MARRIED ON 8/21/04 IN HARLEM. I HAVE 24 PEOPLE IN MY WEDDING PARTY. I THINK I AM AHEAD OF THE GAME AT LEAST I HOPE.
I HAVE THE FOLLOWING DONE ALREADY THE VIDEOGRAPHY,DJ,CHURCH,PASTOR,
RECEPTION HALL, CATERER,DECORATOR,FLORIST,CAKE &CAKE TOPPER,WEDDING PEW BOWS,WEDDING GOWN,TIARA & VEIL,STD (WHICH I'VE CREATED MYSELF W/ THE HELP OF MY COMPUTER),PHOTOGRAPHER AND I WILL BE GETTING THE LIMOS NEXT WEEK. I'VE MADE THE FOLLOWING MYSELF MY GARTERS, THE FLOWERGIRLS BASKETS, THE RING BEARERS PILLOWS AND MY MONEY BAG. I WILL ALSO BE MAKING THE CENTER PIECES FOR THE TABLES FOR THE RECEPTION. IN FEB I WILL GET THE BRIDESMAIDS DRESSES AND IN MARCH I WILL ORDER MY INVITATIONS AND THE GUYS WILL GET MEASURED FOR THEIR TUXEDOS. I HAVE DONE A LOT OF MY SHOPPING AND PLANNING VIA THE INTERNET. I am getting married on August 7th and so far I have booked the hall for the reception and ceremony. The caterer is on site so that's taken care of. Currently looking for a dress and a band. Next will be flowers, photographer, bridesmaid dresses and everything else.
