My wedding date is 8/7/07 where is everyone in the planning, we are still searching for a reception place yet? Just wanted to take a poll as to the planning.

i have already booked the place, photographer, band, and florist. I have also purchased my dress and chosen bm dresses and sent save the dates..we are getting married the weekend after you. Oh, and we registered, but that was a lot of fun, too. Believe it or not, we planned what I think is kinda quick because we did not start right away..we started in october, so it is definitely possible...get out there and start pounding the pavement on places and have fun! good luck and don't forget to post what you are thinking! I've booked the place, photographer/videographer, florist, BM dresses, my dress, band, and honeymoon. I still have to get the limos, and do some hair and makeup trials, and favors. I hope you find a place soon! Things really book up quickly.

i've booked all the major vendors... i have my dress... BM dresses(just need to figure out color)... left to do: honeymoon, invitations, favors, hair/makeup, wedding bands, programs and other DIYs

Eeee I love seeing August 07 threads!
Well I was a little lunatic when I started planning....I booked FAST. In some respects, it kinda came back to haunt me. Taking your time is never a bad thing!! Sometimes booking in under a year can help in the $$ department - or so I hear!
What I have left are the little details...veil, shoes, picking/designing flowers, DIY projects like photocube, table numbers, finish up favors, oooh gotta choose and order invites....
ugh I just can't wait! I'm getting more and more excited about it by the minute!!

I found my dress, and BM dresses, I am DIY the programs, the invitations, STD, BM bouquets, and centerpieces. I live in ATL and I planning everything from here, along with help from my FSIL, and MOH who are in NYC. I am just stuck, until we book the place so that everything else can follow.

So far I have the Hall, Church, Band, Photographer, My Dress, Bridesmaid Dresses and Tuxes reserved. We are working on a Florist, then we are going to do Invites, get our Wedding Bands and Limos and of course, the honeymoon! Don't worry you'll be fine, I would def start looking for your hall but the rest I'm sure you'll get together in plenty of time.

i still have to do the florist and all the the little things that will drive me crazy like programs, menu cards, place cards, band music etc.

My mom alot nauratic and she wanted to finishing the planning in the summer bc she works in a school soooooo I am actually done with everything.!! Yayayyy!! Just waiting on things to start up again...

I am up to ordering invitations. We still have the little stuff dress shoes jewelery, flower girl dress, wedding bands, favors, oot bags, placecards, programs and i hope thats it.......7 months away its going by soo fast

I book hall/ dj/ photographer/make-up/ florist/ ceremony music /ordered my gown/ going to pick out B dresses in 2 weeks/ hair/ shoes/ blocked hotel rooms.
need limo/ invites/ favor (but know what I want) tuxes/ need hair comb/ BM gifts/ Day of Jewelry/ RD site/ wedding bands/ Flower girl dress/ menus/ place cards.

I'm pretty much on the same track as my date twin. i did : book RH book my limo block rooms for OOT guests book hotel for night of wedding book florist pick out bm dresses book HM book photog book church and officiant order dress get someone to do my hair and make up registry
I still need to:
order BM dresses (already picked out, but orders need to be placed in march) pick out FG dress pick out shoes for me pick out jewlery for me pick out tiara order invites DIY menus DIY programs DIY place cards pick out/ buy wedding bands schedule reheasal dinner buy bridal party gifts
Even though i have so much accomplished, i feel like my 'to do' list is still sooo long!!!!
