For the brides getting married in August '08, where are you going on your honeymoon? The reason I ask is because I am an August 09-er and would be interested to know what tropical areas are safe considering it's hurricane season.
Also, if your honeymoon is all-inclusive, please mention that.

We are going to St. Kitts but I don't think it's safe from hurricanes. We took out the insurance just in case! It is not all-inclusive, either, FYI. Good luck!

Excellence Mayan Riveria all inclusive. Not sure about the hurricane safe part, but I know people who went to this resort in August/September in the past and never had any problems.

Also, I've been to Aruba and it is wonderful and outside the hurricane belt.

We are going to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. All Inclusive
ETA: It will be hurricane season but we are not worried because we purchased insurance. If the worse happens we can always postpone the trip.
