August Brides....

Where are you planning on going for your honeymoon. We really want the caribbean (sp) but are afraid of hurricanes. I want All-inclusive, no kids, and a room RIGHT on the beach!!!
Any suggestions....

i'm getting married in august and we plan on going to Tahiti...


we were going to go to Jamaica but my FH isn't comfortable going during hurricane season although I told him its going to be fine...but now we're BOTH in love with Tahiti and DYING to go!!

Aruba or Beruda Not Bermuda...

I agree - not Bermuda. We just got back and spent half the week in the rain!

You really have to do your research and find places not in the hurricane belt. I would call a travel agent - they should have some suggestions.

we just got back from our HM in Aruba and it was beautiful! Our hotel offered all-inclusive, and the restaurants were great. We stayed at the Renaissance in an ocean suite, overlooking the pool and small beach. You can hang out at the beach there, or take a litte boat to a private island they own. The private island has 2 sides, one for families, and one for adults and the beaches are beautiful. The adult side has flamingos that mingle with all the guests
The only downsides are that its close to the airport so you hear the planes (didn't really seem to bother anyone that much) and its not on the same strip as all the other high-rise hotels like the Radisson and Marriot so if you wanted to go to their beaches, you would have to take a cab. The renaissance is more downtown, but we loved it. Lots of shopping and a great restaurant, El Gaucho's, were very closeby!

We went to Aruba and stayed at the Divi Dutch Village...we have a time share. They also own the Tamarijn which is all inclusive. You get to use all of their resorts the Divi Village, Dutch and the Tamarijn (these are right on the beach).
Definately recommend it the weather was perfect for all 12 days we were there and the food is excellent!!!!
