August Brides

I want to ask August brides where you will be going on your HM or where you have. I want to an island, no idea where yet but, I know it is hurricane season. Please give me any ideas. Thanks

We're considering the South Pacific (Fiji or Bora Bora), Australia or Hawaii.

Also, Aruba is in the Carribean but outside the hurricane belt. There are two other islands also outside the belt, but I can't remember their names.

Also there's the Greek islands, Maldives. We have LOTS of choices

Haha Not for the budget traveler we dont...
Those are all pretty expensive

And the other 2 islands are Bonaire and Curacao

Its def least expensive out of all of those areas, but I really dont think restaurants and drinks etc are all that cheap

I might have to wait to do my HM

dazies1011- not sure what your budget is, but would you consider Costa Rica? They have some all inclusives on the beach that cost about $3500 for both of you for 6 nights/7 days (including the flight, all meals and drinks and water sports).

FH's family is from Costa Rica and I have seen many pictures of their trips. It's beautiful!! Also, its rare for them to get hit by hurricanes.

I'd really look into that timeshare you could get.. It would cut down drastically on costs... You could eat breakfast and lunch in the room and then dinner out... Even with the airfare, I dont think it would be too bad... For me, its prob going to be a disaster because I'm going to need 1 way tix because of going to disney beforehand

we're going to Mexico, I am little nervous, but we have insurance, so if worst comes to worst, we'll have a delayed hm!
