I've done:
my dress
hall
church
registered for pre-cana
booked EVERYTHING for honeymoon
picked a florist (sort of)
DJ
selected menu and cake
had save the date magnets made (can't find envelopes to mail them, though)
Still have to get:
photographer (in process!)
BM dresses/FG dresses
BP gifts/ gifts in general
undergarments
accessories
clothes for RD and Honeymoon
invitations/thank yous
limos
placecards
favors -- we're thinking maybe MK Day t-shirts -- who knows!!!

I thought I was doing a good job so far...but now that I look at these two lists I'm a little overwhelmed!!!!!! Anyone else feel that way?

My throat is still healing so no talking at all until next week (it'll be 7 weeks total!) then no talking on the phone for at least another month! FH is swamped at work at least for the next 6 weeks. I've been trying to get stuff done, but it isn't easy to make appointments when you can't speak or use the phone. Some people (one florist) didn't even want to try until I can speak. I can write, hear and point, but geeez Louise!

When am I supposed to have my bridesmaids and maid of honor order their dresses? Am I way behind since we haven't done that yet? We know the color and the manufacturer... just haven't officially gone and checked it all out and ordered it yet.

Each manufacturer is different. Mine said they needed 6 months. Others only need 3 or 4 months. You should call the dress shop and ask, but w/7 months left I think you should be OK.

Thanks -- I'm trying to get the girls together either next Thursday or Saturday. I'm not sure that one of them even wants to be in the wedding. She's been sooooo unhappy --and super-unhappy about her weight and I know she's self-conscious. Everyone else is psyched, though. I'm not sure to handle the one unhappy bridesmaid -- she's not even nice to me anymore. Every time I hear from her she's cold and formal -- pretty much ever since her wedding this past summer. Oh well! I want to have fun and enjoy this time in my life -- so I will

i still have to do shoes, veil, favors/donations???, im NOT DOING any DIY stuff-im hiring someone bc i just dont have the patience!!!

my dress

I thought I was mostly done but for the officiant , garter, my jewlrey, tiara and the invitations ( which I'm making). We're also out of money. Doesn't the hall provide the napkins, toasting flutes and the menu and stuff like that?


Please help, I have no idea what i'm doing I guess. LOL

Each hall is different, so I would contact yours.
Napkins, people mean coctail ones with their names on them which are just extra and you don't have to have them. The tosting flutes are ones people buy and then bring them there and home and again not a must.

I agree with the other poster - you don't need the napkins or the flutes - those are just extra touches that people add but are unnecessary. As far as the menu, that MIGHT be necessary. I know my hall will provide menus, but I'm not sure what other halls do. You need to contact your BM about that one.

It can be either one actually. You just kind of need to look at the context to figure it out. If its 'BMs' its prob bridesmaids b/c it is plural.

I just want to say that I feel like we're all doing a great job and have got a lot done! Lets keep up the good work! August will be here before we know it!

I still have so much to do!!!! I feel so behind. It's been really hard planning from out of state. Next on my list is to finalize centerpiece and all flowers and book a florist. Then order invitations, and BM dresses.
