August Brides

I have the RH, officiant, ceremony music (string quartet), DJ, photographer, dress, hotel block, shuttle for guests, mailed STDs, created wedding website, booked honeymoon to Italy.

Next up is bridesmaid dresses, flowers, invitations, hair & makeup trials and registering.

Curious to see what other August brides are up to.

We have our RH booked, Photographer and video, I've ordered my dress and picked out BM dresses. I'm pretty sure we've figured out tuxes too....


I feel like I have so much more to do, with 220 days left lol

We'll figure out the rest after the new year

We have the church, rh, dj, photographer, videographer, and florist all booked.
I ordered my dress and it came in. I've ordered my veil and headpiece. My BMs have ordered their dresses. We've already sent out our STDs. We registered with BBB. I really wanted to book the limos before the end of the year but that obviously didn't happen! Also, I already have one gift for my BMs.

Hi Ladies, I feel soo behind too..

Everyone says I am ahead but since I didn't get engaged until recently (6 weeks ago), I am trying to get as much done as soon as possible. Luckily, I was lurking on here for a whiole before getting engaged so I was able to scope out all of the vendors that I wanted.

So far, FH and I have booked the church, venue, dj, photo, video, hair and makeup, DOC and ordered my dress. We are sill ironing out our theme which will then still need to get out invitations/save the dates together, the florist and the limos...and then we have to book my hair/makeup trial and epics AND we want to have a small engagement party in late Feb, early March.


Some days I wonder how I will get it all done :)

Ok August Brides...I am feeling a little out of the planning thing. I feel like I still have so much to do but I don't know where to begin. Where are all of you in the planning process? What's left to do? What have you done?

I feel the SAME way... I told FH we have to get things done in January.

January my goal is to:
Book HM
Book officant

BM dresses
Hotel room block
start looking for florist

I mean you can have him pick it out in April if that is what you want. When FH was in my MOHs wedding(He's friends with her husband), the groomsmen didn't go until like two weeks before the wedding.

In Jan I am registering, ordering BM dresses, MOB dress, finding a florish

We have our reception hall,dj, photographer, video, limos. My dress and I have selected bridesmaid dresse but they haven't order them yet. I just finished making my STD magnet and will be mailing it out on MLK weekend. Hopefully, I will have hotel block information to attached to it. I'm still looking into favors and centerpieces. The very next things I will work on are invites, picking flowers and ordering ceremony supplies.
