august brides!! do any of you know when ur shower is? or do u think u know when it is?

i think mine is June 16th. my best friend who is moving to FL July 1st texted me a few weeks ago that her going away get together is june 16th. then last weekend fsil who is my moh brought up my friend's party. now the funny part is fsil is only talking to my best friend cause they're in my bp together. sounds fishy to me!!

OMG! I'm so happy you asked this question. I know my shower is sometime in June (either the middle or end of June) and I know the shower invites were going out so I just checked my registry and about 10 items have already been purchased. I got SO excited. I'm going to be the biggest registry peeker EVER and proud of it.

well thats the ting thats thorwing me off- nothin has been bought off my registry. i'm thinking if the shower is in mid june the invites should have been sent out right? although since people know i 'm a peeker i can see them waiting till the last minute to purchase stuff.

I know my side of the family likes to get a head start on things but your family may be holding back to try and throw you off but I'm sure within another week you'll start seeing things fly off your registry. It such a great feeling.

lets see... my casual dinnerware, waffle maker, coffee maker, microwave, coffee grinder and few a other small items.

I don't even know if I'm gonna have one.. but then again I thought the same thing about a baby shower and I got bak from the mall with my friend to find 15 cars outside my house and i refused to go in!! haha

i have no idea, but my oldest sis said any time after May 1st is free reign, so to be ready when i go out. im sure ill know tho, i feel like showers are rarely FULL surprises! only bc having fam travel in all at same time..its fishy.

I really haven't a clue! My mom knows it's gonna be difficult surprising me since I live in NJ...but I haven't heard a word or seen any clues.

I think my work shower is coming soon though!

I know it's June but can't remember thedate, the reason I say 'remember' is because there was a bit of drama about kids coming to the shower so when I was talking to my sister about this she says to me not to worry because my cousin couldn't come anyway because her bestfriends wedding is the same day. I've talked to my cousin several times about her friends wedding and I know it's June but I can't for the life of me recall what day she said the wedding was on. I wish I knew though because knowing myself, I'll probably be upset about not being dresses or having my hair done if they do surprise me. I did peek at my registry and a few things have been bought already
