August brides... let's check it

Hahahahaha ... You name it, I'm still 'working' on it!

I'm the worst bride ever ...

with 2 weeks to go, i am just trying to save money!!!!

pretty much done with everything except the OOT bags and have to print the place cards

then its just errands...dropping stuff off at hotel, rh, picking up dress & fh tux etc

Ugh! i wrote this whole thing out and LIW ate it, LOL

I'm working on a bunch of little things that add up.

Finalize transportation
Meeting with the photographer next week to go over the must take photos.
Timeline for the day (get ready, pictures, limos, etc)
Finish seating chart
Finish card box
Finish programs
Finish table numbers
Pick up memorial candles
Fix slip (its a little big but luckly my mom can fix it)
Favors
Wrap BP gifts
Buy/wrap parent gifts
Emergency kit
Final head count to RH (can you believe we're still waiting on 2 couples for an RSVP) When they call the week before and say oh we're coming, i'll be like no your not, lol
Get ring cleaned
Make sure all GMS get measured for their tux
umm, i think that's it.... hopefully i'm not missing anything

Is it bad that I'm 11 days away and I'm only just making this list?

I know I have to do this but not sure what else:

Put stickers on favors
Go to bank for $ (Throughout it all I've hated this!)
Box all the things for RH: label, and explain where everything must go
Meet with photographer: add a half hour, must have list
Tell Florist 2:00 delivery not 2:30. Also, double check they have written down I want starfish on boutonnieres!
Pay RH more $ this week then next give final count
Put tissue paper in all the bridal party and parent gifts
Confirm: Make up artist, limo, hotel for honeymoon
Pack for honeymoon (next week do this)
Print flight barcode
Label Kid activities for RH
Put together tip envelopes
Final Fitting (Wednesday!!!!)
Bachelorette Party (Saturday!!)
Walk around the house in my bridal shoes!!!

What else am I missing?

Ditto except I am not doing programs and I ordered a memorial candle. I have to get pictures together for photo montage. Finalize song list. I have so much left I feel.

The August girls are such slackers.

I can say that I checked off - veil (although it won't come in until August 13), headpiece, hair person, and trial all last weekend.

At least I don't have to worry about those.... making menus is my next big challenge - I'm waiting on finalizing my menu this Thursday.

I am all ready to go just have:::::


- the final meeting with the photographer
- Phone conf. with the band to finalize
- go to the bank to get tipping money
- Pick up my dress on the 10th
- drop everything off at the place on the 11th

DONE!!!!!!

Are you? I am ok for now but I know the day before/of I will be.

I am not afraid of anything but walking down the isle. I don't mind being center of attention but during that point I will.

Im nervous about things working out and the weather being nice! I'm not really worried about anything else. FH and I have been living together for a while, so i'm not nervous about the getting married part. We don't really see how our daily lives will change much, ya know.

Im not nervous, i'm sure i'll be when i'm saying we're a 'week' away. I
m describing myself as in denial right now. NOT denial that we're getting married but that its finally here. I've spent the last year and a half planning a wedding. Now that it's almost here you look back and think wow, that went fast.

8 Days.......OMG!!!!

>Finish making escort tags, tie with ribbon on starfish (halfway done with these)
Get sand for the box starfish go in....

>Drop pictures off to DJ for montage...

>Wrap bridal party gifts, write letters to each bridesmaid...

I know I am new to this site, although I’ve been stalking it for a year. I am FREAKING out with how fast the wedding is approaching. I’ve had a two year engagement but now I’m looking back and wondering where all the time has gone. What are we going to plan for after the wedding?! LoL. I definitely won’t miss some of the stress but it has definitely been fun. I am an emotional roller coaster with the wedding coming. Crying one day, so excited the next.

As the day goes on I can always find more things to add. And the wedding nightmares are getting OUT OF CONTROL!!!
