When are you sending out your invitations and when is your R.S.V.P. Date?

Our date is August 21 so roughly 2 months prior would put us at 6/21. Along with that I want to get invites out before summer break starts for school because we have FI's family who will be coming in from OOT. Want to give them as much notice as possible!
I hope to send them out 6/15 (on a Tuesday, mail usually takes average 3 days) so it will get there before the weekend. I'm thinking Friday 8/6 for the RSVP date.

My wedding is 8/8 I will prob send out invites at the end of May with a July 1st rsvp date :)

Im Aug 21 Im mailing them out in mid/late March with a late May RSVP dates. (Im having a Destination wedding I need my final count 45 days before.)

I am also a Aug 21 bride! I am thinking of getting them out mid-June, and possibly a July 15 RSVP date. I want more than a month, in case we need to invite others, we have a high minimum and it's summertime!!

wow i didnt realize all the 8/21 brides !!!
i was thinking of mailing out my invites by May and having a RSVP date sometime in August...havent figured out the exact dates yet

hmmm i havent put much thought into this yet, but i think our RSVP date will be around July 15th?? i have a feeling we wont get alot of responses back and will have to track them down... and then our minimum is high, so we might have to send additional invites out. so maybe send them out beg of June?

One more 8/21/10 bride!!!!!!! Wow there is many of us!!!! When I first signed up to this site, I was the only one..... SO glad to see you guys!!!!!! I am sending my invites June 1. And RSVP is July 7th! I want a month and a half before the wedding, so I have time to do seating arrangements and place cards,

I'm August 28th and I haven't even thought about this. We have a 200 minimum guarantee and don't think I'll have a problem getting this but in case I need to send out more invitations I'm not sure when I would need to send out the invitations. I guess June 1st with a July 15th RSVP and then see at the beginning of July where I stand with the number... Do you guys think this would be good? I haven't even gone to look at invitations yet... I guess I better get on this. How long does it take to print them?

Hm. Very good point. I was just worried about giving guests enough notice and us enough time to track down the guests who don't RSVP. Totally forgot about having time for seating arrangements and place cards! Good tip!
Maybe we should have a August 21 thread! I'm pretty positive all you girls will leave me in the dust of how much you have done...

August 21, 2010 here also!
I was planning on sending them out in early June with an August 1st RSVP date. I will be sending out STDs in January.
