For those getting married in August....Where are you planning on going for your honeymoon. We really want the caribbean (sp) but are afraid of hurricanes. I want All-inclusive, no kids, and a room RIGHT on the beach!!! Any suggestions....

I know its not the caribbean but my friend just got back from greece and she absolutely loved it. she was there for about ten days and it wa reasonably priced. she said the pool was right out of her room and the beach was steps away

Funny you mention that! Greece was another option, but my brother lives there with his fiance(who is Greek) and we will be going there for the wedding in 2 years...and since they are going to live there we will be going there A LOT in the future...However, I am not totally ruling it out!

I've heard that Aruba is outside the hurricane belt. They have all inclusives there.

Im having the same problem!!! I have heard that Anguilla and Antigua dont have hurricanes,,but I could be wrong !!! Also Tahiti and Hawaii,,,but those have super long flights! Im still searching,,so Ill let you know if I find anything good!!!

we went to belize. they do not have the kind of fancy, all inclusive resorts you are looking for. it is more of an eco-tourism place. i can recommend aruba which is outside of the hurricane belt and amazing!

We just got back from our honeymoon in Mexico - the Riviera Maya. We stayed at the El Dorado Royale..... our room was so close to the beach... you walked right into the pool from our room, etc. .... it's an all inclusive, adults only place ... the service was great, the place was beautiful, adn the food was mostly great.... we were worried about hurricanes, too, but luckily everythign turned out ok... good luck

i went to Hawaii and although not all inclusive, you can get a plan that includes breakfast so that helps a lot.
Hurricanes were a concern for me too. You could do Aruba -- they have a few All inclusives there - Divi, Occidental Grand Aruba. On St. Lucia there is Sandals which although is in the hurricane belt, looks to be down far.

hawaii, aruba - classic and nice places to go
but if you have a lil extra to spend you should go to Fiji or Tahiti, pristine beauty. both my friends have been to these places and raved about them. no kids and ultra romantic
