Aunt Flo contradicting with HM

So ive been married for 15 days...and its awesome things definately do change...your priorities change....its more different for me because i never really lived with FH...even when we were engaged...i still felt like i was 'dating' him...he would pick me up for dinners...or i'd sleepover...but we never officially lived together...so its a nice surprise now that its all said and done...



i've had serious honeymoon dilemma's one thing after another!...

But finally im leaving for my HM
July 26th and coming back August 17th
yes i know 3 weeks ...is a long time.. but i cant waitt...

anyways my REALLL questions is...my Period [sorry if TMI] will make its untimely arrival on August 1st... (this is considering im not late, which i usually am) well whenever it does come...i dont want it to come!! i feel like it will ruin the trip... i usually get tired, stressed, an uncomfortable.. during pms weekk...

Im NOT on Birth Control...never took it... do you think i can start just for a month? have any of you ever tried it....i dont know im just nervous...i dont wana like start gaining weight, decrease my sex drive, and all that other list of side effects...esp on my HM.....i dont know what to do...

anyone else...give me an opinion

You cant take the pill for one month and then stop. Thats not good for you...I am sure your doctor would tell you that as well. Besides when you first take it, your hormones will be even more screwed up...not in all cases, but very likely.

And if you wanted to skip a period by being on the pill, this is something you should have started a couple of months ago. Its too late now. You would have to wait until your next period anyway.

I would ask your doctor what you can do to prevent some syptoms..like being moody.

I don't think you have enough time to get on BC for the HM, sorry

.....but! after the HM talk to your OB/GYN there are tons of different BCs out there and the side effects vary by the indiviual. I had trouble with lots of BCs and thought I just couln't take it, but now I use nuvaring and have no side effects.

I've never heard of decresed sex-drive as a side effect, that would be a bummer!
