Hey Ladies...this is my first post here...i'm usually a lurker. i need help. my FI really wants to go to australia for our honeymoon. i pictured something more like tahiti....which beautiful beaches. can anyone convince me that australia is a beautiful place to go with beaches and culture?? :)

I like Australia every beautiful country but I like New Zealand even better for the beach thing. Both places do have alot of culture and is like nothing you've ever seen before.

My boss went this summer and he had the most AMAZING pictures. They went scub diving in the great barrier reef, pet and held koala bears & kangaroos, saw the olympic park, the opera house....I mean - the most amazing pictures. You won't regret going!

I actually did a three day sailing trip around the area.. So the Whitsundays was a stop for a day of swimming and sand as opposed to jumping off the boat! We stayed on a boat for two or three nights.. That could possibly be an excursion from a resort there??? Australia is beautiful... If I didnt go there already that would have made the HM list of places to go..

Could you FM me the info for the tour boat? That sounds like a nice 3 days! What else did you do during those 3 days - was it just going around the great barrier reef area?
