Ave Maria anyone??

Hi Girls,

I want to walk to the Ave Maria, but am having a hard time finding someone to sing it for me. Any suggestions???

At a hall in New Rochelle. I would be willing to reimburse travel costs in addition to the fee.

Or my suggestion would be if either of you are affiliated with a church in anyway to contact their choir director. There are soloists there too that could be recommended.

try gigmasters.com I found my harpist through them and she also is a soloist.

Thanks for the suggestion. Neither FI or I are affiliated with a church, but maybe I can start popping up at mass to check out their soloists!

Try Capriccio Emsemble...I know they have soloists and stuff. I looked into them when I wanted to get a string quartet. Give them a call and see what happens..

Are you having a band or DJ? Maybe they work with someone that could do that.

Hmm...my church provided me with a singer, and it's funny you mention, because she was awful and usually Ave Maria makes me ball like a baby but DH and I actually had to TRY not to laugh.... ;)

I second this suggestion. I am using Capriccio Ensemble for my ceremony music. I hear them in person, and they are amazing.

Just a suggestion: I heard a violin solo of Ave Maria (no singer), and it was so beautiful it gave me goose bumps.

That is the nightmare that I have been having for some time now!! MY BM say at this point I should do a mini American Idol.
