Average Cost of Photographer

I am trying to figure out how much I need to budget to each thing... and I realized that I don't have the slightest clue how much a photographer would cost. How much are photographers? Please share!

I would say budget around $3k and then work with the photographer you are looking into and see if they can go lower than that.

I'd say $2.5-4k is a decent budget.

If you want Video as well, I'd budget $5k.

It really depends on what you want- Our total photo/video is $7000 but that includes our album, parent albums and many prints. The labor cost is $4000.

all depends what u want..if u want parent albums,proofs,2 photogs etc etc ive seem some girls pay 1000 some 10000 if u have to set a budget id say 2-4k

depends on what u want.

figure 2-5 for photography but that can range.
Video can go from 1-5k so again thats a big difference.

I think a range of 2800-5000 is good, especially if you want video. Also, remember you can book the most basic packages to save money.

I am paying about $6,600 for both photographer and videographer, but I am getting my album, 2 parent albums, portraits, tons of pics, the rights to the pics, and a really good video package. It all depends on what you want. They way I look at it - we will have the pics and the video for the rest of our lives - so I don't mind spening a little more on them...
