wondering what people are spending on flowers- I have to choose between spitz and peck, stefans and scarsellas- I heard all on the expensive side.

We're spending $2000. We're getting high centerpieces for 12 tables and that includes all the extras (my bouquet, church flowers, etc.).

ooohh...I LOVE Scarcellas. I met with them on Saturday and loved everything about them - but waiting for a quote. Unfortunately, I think it will be on the high side

my package is 4500... includes 20 centerpieces... all bouquets..corsages & boutineers.. a cielieng treatment at the North Ritz & decorating the church pews as well as two floral pieces for the altar that will then be brought to the RH

I am spending $2500 and that includes 20 CPs which is probably what you will need with 200 guests

Hi! I'm definitely in the same boat as you (approx 200 guests) with the same florists! Here is what I've found:
We met with S&P last Saturday. I wasn't too impressed with their NYC location but I guess thats because they didn't have many samples around and it was a dark office. When we asked the owner how he works with people's budgets, he said that he can do a budget as small as $7K or as large as $30K---as my budget is about $5K, I didn't like that answer! After we told him our $, he didn't say anything like that he'd be wiling to work so that we'd still have a beautiful wedding on less money. Instead, he said that he'd show me what he could do with that budget and see if I liked it. I didn't like that response.
I know that Stefans is wonderful but at the two weddings where I've seen their work, I know the brides spent about $9k-$12k on flowers. Thats not my budget!
I think we are going to end up with Scarsella's because I've heard RAVE reviews from a number of brides about how wonderful Carolyn is, plus my FMIL is a regular at the nursery there! When I set up an appointment with Carolyn, I immediately told her budget (i'm meeting with her on July 25) and she said that she could definitely work with us and that it will be beautiful.

The place that I called, which was Dalsimer, did a FANTASTIC job at the girls wedding who I walked in on when we booked NRC. He did the ceiling treatments, chair sashes and decorated the staircase where each of the sashes touches the railing with gorgeous flowers. I was thinking of decorating the staircase as well....are you planning on doing the same or just leaving the toule that they have on the stairs?

Mrshandsome to be what company are you using for the North Ritz that does the ceiling treatment and that price? Its not bad and I am getting married there! Thanks!

I'm getting married in NJ. From the prices you are mentioning I think I better do some more research.
What can I expect to pay for a large centerpiece lush and full. My Aunt just had a Bar Mitzvah and said her centerpieces were $300 each.
For 20 tables that's $6K right there.
At this point we're going for a Tuscany theme but not using sunflowers. I thought urns filled with roses and hydrangeas and maybe some fruit.
We talked to one florist and basically we did all the creative work with no suggestions from the vendor. Any tips for how to interview the florist?
I have about 200 guests and I'm paying $1600 for low CPs, 7 BM bo-ks, GMs boutinerres, my bo-k, throw-away bo-k, FG flowers, FH's flower, and parent coursages.

about 2,000 maybe a little more.
We got 19 centerpieces 7 bks 7 groomsmen 2 dads 2 readers 2 moms my bk and the tossing one rose pedals a centerpiece for my moms house 2 big pieces for the church 6 pew ribbons
check out burtons... I got married about a month ago and the flowers were absolutely amazing! And as long as its in season its included. I booked 2 years ago so the prices may have changed but they do an amazing job!

My wedding was Nov 8th and we used Carolyn and she did a great job! Just wanted to let you know. Last minute she wasnt sure how she was going to piece things together but came through ! The chuppah was exactly what i had dreamed about along with my bouquet! If you have any questions, let me know- good luck- laurie
