Hi girls, a friend of a friend used someone for invitations that charged between $5-$8.50 per invitation. Is this low, average, high..??

depends on what kind they are, really.... i think $4-$8 is about average .... anything more than that is high.
I'm going DIY and making them for about $1 each (though DIY can be pricey as well if you go fancy)

i paid $515 for 150 invites, not pocketfolds, but this includes all addressing as well.
edit: that comes to $3.43 each

went to The Sweet Nut Hut and Invitation Station (vendor on here). got beautiful pocketfolds with raised writing for the best price!! each one came to a little less than $4!!!!!!
soooo happy and the service was AWESOME! totally recommend! talk to cathy!

That seems pretty high- even for pocketfolds, I wouldn't pay more than $4 or $5 an invite.

I think that's high. I would say average is $2-$5.

That seems high to me...we are paying like $4-$5 an invite, but that includes 3 inserts, all construction and all addressing of all envelopes

I was quoted $10.00 - $15.00 an invitation for what I want, NO WAY!!! so DIY it is.

Mine were about $8.50 each, but this also included the company addressing my envelopes, and I got the self-stick envelopes too (so I wouldn't have to moisten). It was probably closer to the higher end, but then again, there's still a lot of options more money than that!

about 3.85 per invite with envelopes addressed. It was through a friend though.
