It really depends on your doctor. I had two internal ones - at 6 weeks when my urine test showed I was PG, and again at 9 weeks to estimate my due date (I couldn't use LMP because I didn't have one!). I also had a level 2 at 20 weeks, and then one at about 34 weeks to make sure my placenta had moved up (I had a low lying plaenta). When my water broke and I was admitted into the hospital, I had one more because they had to see if the baby was still breech.
One at 18 weeks and then 2 more with my bio physical profiles at weeks 40 and 41.
I only had one at 16 weeks. I have since gone to another doctor since we moved and he too only does one routine sonogram. Unless there is reason to do another for complications or something, I will only have that one.
i am due the 29th of this month and have had 4 the entire pregnancy. i think it depends on the dr.
Depending on the dr, but I think 3 is the norm, unless you develop GD like me, and then you go weekly (after 32 weeks).
I had 2 scheduled internals and one 20 week sono. I wound up having one additional internal sono and then an extra level II sono at 24 weeks due to some problems I experienced throughout the pregnancy.
With my son, I had one around 20 weeks and then another the day before he was born because I was 10 days overdue. With my daughter, I only had the one at 20 weeks and she was 12 days early.
