average price for a veil

i went to try to find a veil yesterday and all the cathedral length ones that i liked were about $900! is this what veils cost? it seems like wayyyyy too much to me.

I have a cathedral with fingertip blusher...no lace or stones...I wanted simple elegance and it was in my opinion reasonable...

Mine is a cathedral length with lace and it was under $300. It's the one that goes with the Maggie Florencia dress

Did you check out Barron's in Tri-County. I bought finger tip with blusher - PLAIN - $45.

Definitely check out Barrons in Tri-County. They can make any type of veil you want and their prices are reasonable.

I wouldn't go through a bridal salon. I looked at a veil at the salon I purchased my dress from and it was $300. I purchased something very similar from Barron's and it was $110.

I am looking for a cathedral veil as well and I heard Tri-County has good options for about $300 . I havent went yet, but I feel that is where I will end up getting mine. My sister got her's there but it was fingertip and had swarvoski crystals but i think she was somewhere in the 100's.

ugh...veils can be soo expensive!!! I wore 2 different ones and the total for the two was over 1,000! (insanity...i know) truth is as much as I loved my veils bc they were very different then most...it was still money that could have been spent elsewhere. I see tons of beautiful veils on etsy super cheap, you should check there!

Def go to Baron's!! I wanted a very simple veil ...it was $179 at the bridal shop and $65 at Baron's!

cathedrals seemed to be around $300 - $500 when i was looking (at my bridal store and at barrons). $900 seems right if you want something that has stones or a finished edge

I couldnt justify paying that much for a plain veil so i made mine

i sent $225 on my fingertip veil at RK Bridal.
I knew i really wanted a Cathedral length veil to wear during the ceremony and for pictures but they were all so ridiculously overpriced IMO to wear for just a few hours.
So i started searching on line and i found a website called wedding-veil.com ( think but if you google it it will come up) and i got a gorgeous swarovski crystal encrusted, 120 foot veil for only $100! it was gorgeous and no one could believe I only spent $100 on it. I ordered it very last minute and got it right away.

My gown is by augusta jones N the designer is doing a custom made veil fingertip length its $600

Check Etsy and REcycledbride, too.....there are many postings for brand new veils for a seriously discounted price!

I just bought my vail, its cathedral length with a finger tip blusher. as well as satin ribbon around the edge. its custom made and cost 650...I thought it was too pricey but amazing.

I went to Christie Lauren...she was so nice and helpful!!!! CAnt wait to see the final prduct!
