How much is average to spend on a DJ? My friend spent $1800 and thought that was really inexpensive. I think it sounds like a lot but I have no idea.

It really depends what you are looking for i would say starting at 1000 for the minimum

the packages/things we really like go for $2500 (which i think is cheap) to $4000 (which is pricey) so $1800 is a really really good deal

$1800 is about an average price, but that usually doesn't include extras like plasma screens

$1800 is about right...but when you add on lighting, plasma screens, and all the other extras it can def. add up.

it depends on the DJ company! lol
MOST places quoted me 1600-1800 for two guys (DJ and MC) for 5 hours. once u start adding things that number goes up.

I think without all the extras, you can get someone as low as $1200.

to answer this question we def need more info. what kind of package are you looking for? dj and mc or a combo? lighting? give aways? CH? plasmas? live music? alot depends on all these factors. if its basic mc and dj you can probably find someone for $1500
