Average Price of a Veil

Average Price of a Veil

I think I am getting close to ordering my dress and there is a gorgeous matching veil that goes with it, but the veil is around $600 which seems ridiculously expensive to me. What is the average price for a veil? (Long)

I got a quote on a Cathedral length veil for $125. there is really nothing to it though. just plain... I spent enough on the dress, didn't need that added expense!

8 ft rolled edge veil, no beading no lace
40inch fingertip rolled edge veil with beading, no lace
spray comb headpiece
all came out to 208.00

Try Barron's at the TriCounty to see if you find anything you like.

the one i liked was $900. but i'm not getting that one; still looking. i think anything above 300 is a lot to pay considering i won't wear it all night

The original one I wanted was around $500, but then I found almost an exact replica at Pina in Patchogue for almost $200, so of course I got it there!

I got one with cathedral length with elbow length blusher detachable with crystals on the edging and crystals scattered all over for $300.

Go to Barron's in Tri-County. I know someone who got hers there for under 100 bucks and it was just as nice as the one I saw for 400.00 at another store.

Mine was $400!!! by far the most expensive item in my budget in terms of 'splurge' factor. however, it was cathedral length with a fingertip layer (I took off the cathedral part after the Mass and pictures) and also had a blusher. it also had very intricate detailing on it. . . .

I also wore no headpiece or tiara so the veil was my 'bling.' in hindsight, probably too much $$$ but i loved it so much and was PERFECT with my dress. it also had to be ordered in a special color as my dress was ivory.... most chepaer veils are snow white.

Def go to Barrons! I ordered my veil from them. They are custom making it and it cost me $65 , not bad right!

I got mine at Barrons too - they were great, and customized the veil so it was exactly what I wanted! I think it was $125.

I'm not getting any tiara's or pieces although I do love hair vines. This veil matches the details on the dress exactly and its the most gorgeous veil i've ever seen, however at that price I could get a second wedding gown, lol. I really want a veil with lace trim, that's all I really care about. I saw one at David's Bridal but no price was listed. Anyone have a veil with lace trim?

if you, or someone you know, is at all crafty or good at sewing totally make it yourself.

I bought the crystals and matched a swatch to the right colored tulle and it came out awesome and cost about 10 bucks.

The one I wanted in the store was 300, found it at tri county for 125....then ebay had it for 20 bucks. So I spent 28 dollars total including shipping for my beautiful veil. Check out pics in my review!!
