Average Price per head for a Baby Shower?

I know this is a hard question to answer as i all depends on your budget and who is paying. Just wanted to know if there was some sort of norm out there so I don't go nuts with money I don't have ......

My mom threw my shower and she paid 32 dollars with tax/tip. She also upgraded by adding Prime Rib as a choice for lunch and a champagne punch.

It's pretty much the same as a Bridal Shower. It depends on where you have it. Plus any extra's or upgrades.

ETA - I voted for 20 -25

We're paying $26pp, plus drinks, tax and gratuity, but we're only having about 30 people.

Re: Average Price per head for a Baby Shower?

I had mine at the Pine Grove Inn in Patchogue. It was really nice. We had a choice of 2 appetizers, we chose baked clams and fresh mozz & tomato salad. What was nice was the guests didn't have to choose one or the other. They just put platters of both on the table. Both were good. They also put a nice bread bowl on the table with olives. The main entree included 3 choices. All the food was good, plus we got a cake and also a salad course. Another nice touch is that they provide menus for the guests. I would definitely recommend it if you live in Suffolk.
