Average price per person costs for LI and venue costs

I was wondeing if you can help me out -

I am tring to get the range that people are paying for price per person and site fees if any that they are being charged for a sat night in Aug 07.

I am looking for somewhere on Long Island In Nas. or Sfk. for about 150 - 200 people.

where did you find 90 per person - please list the location. what was and was not included.

also just for reference - where was the most expensive location that you found?

this would really help me out.

Well it really depends on where you look. I think the cheapest price I got was $90 per person and it went up from there. Do you have specific halls in mind? We could help you better if we had an idea of what/where you are looking for

the cheapest I saw for a sat nite in july and august was also $90.

It really depends upon several factors:

the month of the wedding.... june through sept is the most $$$

The day of the week and time of day: sat night is the most $$$

If you want under $90, it's best to plan a fall or winter wedding on a sunday afternoon.... Many more halls will agree to that price at those times....

But there are also many pretty places that routinely charge that much during the summer.... check out other threads on this site!

THere is a magazine out that lists all this information for halls all over LI...you should check it out.
ALso try to choose a friday or sunday night out of season
