Since FH family is from Maryland I am doing all the legwork to find several options for our rehearsal dinner. I found a really cute place in Rockville Centre and they quoted me $35.95 per person. That includes family style dinner with appetizers, salad, pasta, main course, dessert and unlimited beer, wine and soda.
Does that seem like a reasonable price? How much are you or your FILs paying for the RD?

My mom has alot of dinners and she usually can get them at nice place for 25 pp but that doowen't include drinks. I think it depends on the place though. Look at the menu and see if what they are getting equals the price you would have to pay alcarte. Most of the times it is less then ala carte.

I htink we paid $30pp and then just paid a bar tab for the drinks. We had a private room, we also had trouble findinga palce for Friday night because the restaurants get so busy. That was in the Jericho, Carle place area.

I think that sounds reasonable, especially with the drinks. We are paying $33 plus $10 each for beer/wine/soda (full bar is $18 extra each ) Perhaps i should start negotiating!!! GOod luck!
