So, what prices should I expect? MY FH went to one place and for a tux with tails they quoted him $250!! Is it me, or does that seem outrageous?
TIA

Did your prices include shoes? And what else?

Re: Average Tux Prices
My FI ended up buying a tux b/c rental prices were so high anyway...My co has an annual black tie event so he figured it actually makes more sense to buy it instead.
I would check out Syms (they have nice brand name ones). And you know Macy's, they always have huge sales.

DH went to Di-Re's Formal Wear, its attached to ROyalty Limo in Franklin Square. We were able to get 2 free, but instead we got one free for DH and about $20 taken off all the others instead of the 2nd free one. They paid about $120. We had 7 including DH, shoes come with.

Re: Average Tux Prices
We went to one place today that was going to rent FH an $800 tux for like $350. That seemed to be a lot for something he wouldn't even own. The rest of the places were in the $120-160 range though.

Re: Average Tux Prices
We went to a Bridal Expo showcase at the Marriot in Uniondale (during the blizzard) a few weeks ago and locked in a price of $59 per rental (including everything) + DH free at Men's Warehouse - how could you go wrong?? I know a few people who have used them and couldn't be happier..........
