Re: Avg Cost @ Georgettes
Ahhh, it's such a great place! The woman is so nice... but honest, so beware . I got a corset and a new vanity fair bra for $83 incl tax. I think the VF bra was $29 so the corset was probably somewhere in the $50 range. It has a low back.

I got one of those 'long line' bras for $48, for under my wedding dress, and a regular bra for $28. I need to go back and get a regular strapless bra for the honeymoon.

I got a supportive, backless, ends at the waist bra there for $30.00. I thought it was hysterical going there- they whip the bras on and off of you until they get the right one. They are really nice. Good luck!

I got my Le Mystere low back, smooth seam bra on Ebay for 1/2 off ($98 in all the stores I checked; $35 on ebay!). Never been worn before. Check out the seller toymama.

Re: Avg Cost @ Georgettes
You are in a dressing room at the back of the store- no one can see you. My experience was that I went in with a photo of my dress and told them I needed something backless, but I am not small, so I also needed support. So the one saleswoman pulled out two or three bras to start and came in the dressing room with me. I am not someone who is extremely comfortable naked in front of strangers, but it is like bra shopping with your mom, not weird or anything. Since I was looking for something very specific- they would help me with one and if it didn't fit they would say -'nope, forget that one, let's try another one.' By whipping them on and off I meant that they didn't waste time trying to sell you stuff that really didn't fit or hold you up. didn't mean to scare anyone off- they really were wonderful!
