Avg $ of Flowers?

Hi. I was wondering approx. what the avg. price for flowers was, including centerpieces, bouquets, etc etc... I'm going to start looking around this week and I have no clue what to expect.. THANKS :)

i think it really depends on how many BP members you have, how big the wedding is b/c that will decide the # of centerpieces you need for the tables and what type of flowers you want and the seaon that you getting married.
for me we have all roses and hydrangeas for the 6 girls bo-k's and centerpieces, my bo-k is roses and stephanotis and the bouts are stephanotis w/ crystals, 2 flowers girl baskets, a throw away bo-k, extra bouts, flowers for the cake, and ceremony flowers and decor (and small votive canles & flowers for the cocktail hour... i think it came to $3500. we got alot of stuff and my hall makes you chose one of two house florists and they just both happen to be the most pricey in westchester! these are my centerpieces and the bo-k styles i am getting...

What are you looking to get because prices can range A LOT! How many bridesmaids, how many boutinieres, how many tables- do you want high CP or low CP, do you have a specific flower in mind, etc...
Just for reference I'm paying $2300 for my bok, 6 MOH/BM boks, 2 clutches for moms (all roses and callas), 10 calla bouts, chuppha rental and decoration with roses and gerber daisies, 2 baskets of petals, 20 low CP of roses and gerber daisies.

depends on what you are getting.
centerpieces can be very different in prices if you get tall ones or low ones. How many boquets are you getting, centerpieces, church flowers etc? I am paying 1200$ for 1 bridees bo-kay, 1 MOH, 4 bm, all bouteneers, 3 flower girl baskets, 3 coursages, 12 low centerpieces, 1 mantlepiece. any flowers or arrangement I want

Well, there will be 4 BM, my bouquet, 4 GM, plus two more boutonniers (sp) for my dad and his dad, then coursages for our moms (and i guess his stepmom and my dad's girlfriend).. there are about 150-180 people coming, so i'm figuring it will be about 15 tables or so. The flowers for the ceremony and cocktail hour are being supplied.

wow you should get a really good price bc that is not a lot of flowers. I am using burtons... The girls here recommended them to me and said they are the most reasonable. Very nice people and most of the reviews of them were good. Hope it works out for me. I thought I had a flower thread in my notebook with other florist recommendations but I can't find it. Try a search for florists or flowers and see what you find.... Or am I jumping the gun and do you already have an estimate from a florist?
