Awake and anxious about work and wedding...

I should be sleeping, but I am awake, busy worrying about wedding plans (my Bridemaid needs a list of the people i want for the bridal shower tomorrow, but i don't have my wedding list yet, and other things). And I am starting a new job this school year as a math teacher....

And then I don't get sleep b/c i am anxious and then I drag my a$$ all day b/c I am so tired! And then I don't have the strength to deal with the anxiety. Its a vicious cycle.

Sorry to vent, just needed to tell someone....

dont be anxious and definitely dont lose sleep over this.

sit down tomorrow and make a list of all the things that still need to be done. then promise yourself that every week you will get at least X amount done. it will alleviate all of the pressure and keep you sane. the day of the wedding, you will be cool as a cucumber!

now go to sleep!

Thanks, my FH is calling me now, so i guess i will try to sleep. I know its not worth worrying over things the way i do, but i have always been this way and its hard to stop, especially at night.

Thanks again!

don't be anxious - be thankful you're not me, my wedding is in a week and a half - now that's anxiety!

anxiety has been a part of my life for the past 5 years. I've been unhappy at work for a while and the wedding planning has not helped one bit. Not that I want to push drugs on anyone but I take a sleep aid at night and it's the only thing that helps me fall asleep and stay asleep all night 9 times out of 10 anyway. I'm only up this late because I just got home and I'm too tipsy to fall asleep....just waiting for the ambien to kick in!!!
