NOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!

my car and my neighbors car were side swiped some time this morning... fukin lovely...

the cops came... they filed a report..etc...

hopefully i will go home to good news... my neighbor has a camera facing the front of his house... hopefully he was able to get the person on camera that did it...

im sure considering our luck they wont have a shot of the plate or anything... but its worth a shot...

from semi-personal experience... if your neighbor has footage, even a partial plate number.. and the cops say they'll look into it when they have time or that they can't use it... go to someone higher. go to the town, go to the precinct and speak with a captain.
a friend of mine rented a lot to park his work truck at night, he had a camera on it.. well TWICE it was broken into, he's a landscaper.. in total they took over $40,000 worth of equipment...
the police wouldn't even acknowledge the tapes.
well they took them and said they'd look at them when they had time.
my friend went to the town and complained, then to the captain of the precinct.. the responding cops (supposedly) were reprimanded.. and they found ONE of the two people that took the equipment, based on the video.

I'm not sure how your precinct is.. I know from other experience that this one sucks!

ugh im so sorry.
im dealing with the same thing- i got sideswiped on thursday and dealing with insurance police reports and all this cr@p.
