AWESOME NEWS

I am not a very active poster... but some of you MAY know, FH is currently in Iraq... and will be thru Christmas but the good news... his Unit was extended from mid jan to mid/late feb...

ok so far not good news but....

He's part of the advanced party and is FLYING home days after the new yr to prep for his unit's home coming! So he is coming home 6-8 weeks early

ETA: Dates of his home coming have been flying around and in the last couple days... it went from the 8th to the 3rd to the 2nd... ugg i wish they would make up their minds! SOOO much to do and only a few days...

Congratulations!!!!!!! I will keep him in my prayers for a safe trip home to you!!!

Thanks girls.. i am soooooo excited... it has been getting kinda hard lately.. the longer he is gone the more i miss him.. and love him

That is totally awesome news!! One of the women in my office has an 18 year old son over there. Every day I see her anxiety as she waits for him to come home (currently scheduled for late January). I can imagine the anticipation you are going through right now. Make sure you have a good homecoming ready for him.

i hope so.. .last time he came home it was 11pm too dark for pics... this time he may be wearing civi's since it is only advon.. dunno.. dont even know if i pick him up at a local airport or one of the local air bases (march or miramar) or pendleton... typical!

Yea tell me about it. When FH came home from iraq.. it was a week early and then three hours late. I was DYING. IT was sooooo last minute and then Im sitting at the base for 3 hours going insane.

Civies or camies.. who cares! That hug is just the BEST
