OMG! That su cks! Thank God she atleast has a video to look back at and hopefully her guests got some nice shots. What a shame! I hope they gave her a refund.
Wow - I really cannot see how the photographer could be so dumb! UGH - I guess I should make sure they have a memory card in before we start!

Re: awful wedding story
Girls!!! Ask your photogs if they back up all of their images during the day, immediately after and during the editing process. I never even thought of this until my photogs told me they did and even if I didn't book with them to ask this of anyone I do go with!!!

Re: awful wedding story
That happened to someone I used to be friends with. But it was like 16 or 17 years ago, so it was rolls of film. I'm not sure of the circumstances but I beleive he was mugged and had all the film in the same bags as the cameras. And he wasn't going to give them thier money back! He ended up giving them all their moeny back and they collect the negatives from everyone at the wedding and he fixed them up as best he could. I'd flip out. Flip out isn't the word. I made sure to ask my photographers if they keep the memory cards separate from the cameras. They do, and they upload as soon as they get home.
