SOOO....
We have not lived together and won't until we're married. We're going to be buying a new bed.... but how do we buy a bed that does not squeak? Do you have any suggestions? It's not like we could try the bed out in the showroom... I absolutely HATE squeaky beds!
Any recommendations?
Ikea beds (some of them) don't squeak. You may want to try a bed on a platform instead of a box spring.

Try a latex bed. They don't have springs in them.

The mattress doesn't, but the bed frame it's on is what will squeak. She needs a bed frame that sits directly on the floor.

It's not really the bed that squeeks its the mattress most times - also the 'motion' that is going on in the bed if you catch my drift ![]()
FH and I got a bed from Ethan Allen and a Sealy mattress (Lilly Creek was the name of the mattress) and the bed doesn't squeek.

hotel beds never squeek for us..
futon = creeks
my bed = just bad in general u can hit it with ur hand and it screams... but thats the bed frame not the matress or box spring.. jsut a bad frame.
college bed = once it was on the bed stilts it was FINE (and thats just a matress on a spring layer )
my suggestion.. look for a real steady FRAME

FH and I bought a bed from Sleepy's a few months ago... LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE it!!! The most comfortable bed ever, and NO squeaking!! ![]()
