When I was like 4 I went to see the Smurfs on Ice and my mom had me really young (16) so we did not have a lot of money at all so we had really bad seats...all the way up in the nosebleed of Madison Square Garden...there was a part where Papa Smurf went into the audience and pulled some kids on the ice and my mom said I stood on the chair screaming 'Papa Smurf...it's me !!!' I was screaming my name and of course he never came. My mom said she never forgot it and it bothered her all this time....
Fast forward*** 22 years**** We went dress shopping on Saturday morning and she gave me the most beautiful card with a little package and she said I though I would pick up your something blue....I opened it up...IT WAS A LITTLE PAPA SMURF!!!! This is where the tears start...
She said you did not get to see him that day but Papa Smurf will be at your wedding!!!! OMG I loooooove my mom!!!!

OMG - I have the chills. That is one of the most heartfelt stories I have ever heard. Your mom is an amazing woman. I am also very close to my mom so this story really hit home, I love it!
