Ayyyyyyy!!!!!!!!!!

Hi Ladies,
I booked my engagement party for May 29th and now we can't have it that day for a bunch of reasons. The place already has our deposit and they can give us another date. The problem is that there are no dates available in June and my parents are going away in July until mid August.
That is 5 months after we have been engaged. Is that too long?

Not at all. I had an engagement party six months after I got engaged.

i have e-party 1yr 3mths later...no big deal
this is just to get the families together for the first time. i acutally have the same date (may 29th) and i had hard time finding a place. very busy time then

Update:

The hall can give me Sunday June 6th. That is a relief. I am going to have it then. Even though I really wanted to have it on a Saturday....I will settle for a Sunday though. It is a 5hr party....what time should I begin and end it....u think?
