The new position takes up ALL of my time...i mean that isnt a bad thing and i had an AMAZING meeting today with a new client with 2 PERMANENT PLACEMENTS!! (i am an account manager for a staffing service...but i just was promoted from a recruiter positon a few weeks ago)

i know i know...work is no excuse...but i have SO much earning potential now that each minute i take away from it is money i could be losing! OCD, what can you do....i mean LIW is addicting too and i just CANNOT let myself go on at work
What is new...HMM....invites went out (well as stated in a post over the weekend to everyone but dads guests but i waited long enough and since so many guests are OOT they NEEDED to get out...his will get out this week (fingers crossed)) so now i get to wait for RESPONSES!!!!
i feel like i have less wedding stuff to talk about...almost like (GASP) everything is done!!!

OMG and the BEST THING...my company gives us a sales goal...we beat it by $1million they take us to cancun...started for 03...well for 04 we did it again (this is 3 mil over actual 03 goal and 2 mil over what we actually did)
SO...i get back from my HM and work a week and a half and then i GO TO CANCUN with a GREAT GROUP OF PEOPLE (we are all SOOO close) it is all inclusive at the Riu palace, went there last year and LOVED IT...they pay for me, we pay for FH (who of couse comes too!!!) I AM SO EXCITED....

yeah but it wasnt bad...she is a great girl and needed somewhere to stay...i would hope someone would do it for me...and w3e were able to save some money...but she ALSO saw all my bridezilla moments on thom AND my mom (and those are on the PHONE!!) so i feel like most people (esp those that arent your BEST friend) dont see that normally

hmmmm what's new with me....
worked like mad on the wedding this weekend...since you're all done you can finish working on mine!! lol
i finished my finals thursday, so now i'm 'working' on my thesis. if i finish this baby i'm set to graduate one week before the wedding
i also started shopping for co-ops/condos...found one i love and am waiting for an opening....
i've been doing great on ww too!!! joined with kimberlybride from on here (who is doing FABULOUS BY THE WAY!) i just signed up again for like the zillionth time...you still doing ww?

WOW!!! CO-OP SHOPPING! that is great...we decided to stay in our apartment one more year (let me reap the benefits of the new job and then have more to put down/ use for improvements on a townhouse...maybe) i am trying to fast track it so if i ROCK this year at my new position then MAYBE (we are in growth mode) it will be in time for them to opened a planned office in boston. I miss New England (went to school in VT) and so does Thom (he grew UP in vermont and never left (went to school together) until we mved here...and although i miss NY...i am just not sure i am ready to go back....AND the couty i live in KILLS you on cap gains tax if you move before 2 years...SO...renting for us for now
As for WW....i have stopped really sticking to it...i have really only a few pounds to go (like under 5) and so i have just been watching it and trying not to snack.

if i didn't live in ny, i'd probably be renting. the thing is we're only going to stay for 5 years and it's just too expensive to rent for that long. did i mention i put in my apps for doctoral programs. so if i get in i'll be there for 5 to 6 years. After that we're going to be looknig to move out of state and get our dream home
vermont sounds nice...maybe we'll be neighbors one day

Thank you!! i have said it before (i remember i think someone got mad about it) i just wanted to get back to i was 2 years ago...when more of my clothes fit...and give myself a long time to do it!
we can TOTALLY be neighbors in vermont and DOCTORAL PROGRAMS!! wow! you are TOTALLT the smarty amongst us. That is GREAT! where did you apply? You went to stoneybrook Undergrad, right? what about now?
