For those brides that had a b list, how did you do your invitations?? Starting to think about invitations and this came up tonight. Don't I have to send out the second batch of invites with a different rsvp date? So for example the fist group goes out with a Jan rsvp date and the b list invites go out with a Feb rsvp date.
Very confused by this and don't know why to do! Any input would be appreciated!!

B list
I would just send the A list 4 months in advance and the B list 2 months in advance. All with the same date. Hopefully, people respond back right away.

I sent out my invites on Friday. The first no I get, I'm sending to the first person on the b list and so on. Same RSVP date.

That's a good idea but my only concern is im inviting 210 I think and my min is 175 I already know a few people won't come ( elderly and too far) but the rest will depend on the plus 1s....im afraid to send an invite after a no and then be over!

Depending on what your B list looks like, I would do, if you get a single no, send out a single invite. If you get a no from a couple, send to a b list couple. That way your numbers always match. Other than that, I've got nothing. lol.

Yeah, this is what I think we are going to do. Otherwise I think you would have to have two sets with different dates.

I wish I had a helpful idea for you since I already went through all of that. Everything was completely messed up for me though because soooo many people said NO and sooo may ppl didn't even RSVP. Just be on top of everything I guess and yes when you get one no, send out a B list. I wish I hadn't waited so long to send out B-lists.

Such a good idea! I was going to start a B list because I have a feeling some of FH's family won't come from out of state since we aren't having kids at the wedding
