If I have a RSVP date that is earlier to see who is coming or not to get out B list invites....then what do you do about the response card? It will have the original response date for the A list.
So original response date is 9/22. Changing it to 9/1, to see if I can invite B list guests.
How does that work? Did you make different response cards with a later date? Or not send one?

I took the RSVP card out of the invite when i sent it to the Blist people. I just communicated with them to find out if they were coming

i am probably no help but im doing my own invites so the RSVPS for the b list will be diff then for the A list. but I agree with taking them out...i was just happy to see other girls making a list invites and b list invites hehe i thought i was the only one!

I'll be ordering a few response cards with a later date, so i can send them out once i've received a few no's. hopefully because of the second response card,b-list people won't realize they're b-list.
if you've already ordered all your response cards, you could just not send to the b-list then wait until close to the rsvp date and call and say 'Hey you never rsvp'd can you make it?'.. just act like the invite got lost in the mail.
I do the lost in the mail bit with clients everyonce in a while, and it always seems to work for me.

We just got the proof back, but think it would cost to much to order seperate response cards with different dates.
So maybe send without....or your lost in the mail.

I printed my own, so I printed up RSVP cards with 2 different dates

I was JUST wondering the same thing. I am going to send B list the invites with all of the inserts except for the response card and just call them to find out if they are going.
