I know some of you are doing B-Pics, so I wanted to ask for some advice. Basically I went to see a photography a few weeks ago, who happened to mention the idea of doing B-Pics. FH had no idea what they were, so they explained them to him, and of course he was overjoyed with excitement.
Basically my situation is I lost a ton of weight 2 years ago (45 pounds)...still slightly uncomfortable with my body, even though everyone always tells me how great I look. Have to get used to my new image I guess! I'd really like to do this for him because it's obviously something he'd really like...so hoping to find someone who can help me feel comfortable in front of the camera.
Any suggestions? I don't want to spend a ton of money on it, since we are paying for the entire wedding ourselves... I know some of you girls use Jenerations and do like a group thing. How does that work? Also, would anyone else who isn't already doing something like this be interested? I'm a great planner!!

The Jenerations group thing is a GREAT idea. Mine are in 2 and 1/2 weeks and the prices are great. I would post a new thread in BHB saying you're getting a group together for Jenerations b-pics. I think you need 5 girls, but someone will correct me if I'm wrong. Just email Jen so you can work out a date and she will give you all the info, she is really great to work with. I've asked her a ton of questions and she responds within hours.

Congratulations on the incredible weight loss!! You should definitely have them done, you and FH will love them.
I would love to do one of the parties with Jenerations...but I was thinking I may have to wait until next year to do them. Depends on the cost, though!

I'd be interested too in setting up a group for Jenerations but I'm also thinking that I want to wait until 2012, maybe Marchish. Anyone else interested in doing theirs then?

If I can get up the courage to do this, I may be interested in a 2012 date. FH knows nothing of B-pics and I know he would go nuts over this as a gift.

if they offer a group package I would totally be down. I am a bigger girl and dont feel very confident either, but I know that my FH would love it still.

awesome. do you want to shoot them an email to see if we can get an idea of pricing for next March? I'm also happy to organize as well.

I e-mailed Jenerations about two weeks ago and she said that she doesn't do group photo shoots anymore. Maybe if someone else reaches out to her she will be willing to do it for us since I really wanted to do a group one as well.

grrrr. i know my photographer did a session and will do another one in the fall/winter but i can ask if she'll do one next winter.
I also met a bpic vendor at a spa party but it's a guy that would do it. not sure how you guys feel about that but I can shoot him an email also.

Oh no!! I'll email Jenerations and use my witty personality to try to persuade her otherwise.
I'm okay going with another photographer if they'd be willing to do a group session, I just don't feel comfortable if the photographer is a male....

ok, cool. yeah, agree on the not male. i will barely be comfortable with a female. i'll let you guys know what I hear back from my photographer. i'll also try to research some others.

I am doing my B pics with my photographer for my wedding Fade to Black and they are reasonably priced and I have mine Aug 28th at 1pm I am excited and nervouse i have five outfits. if you need more info please FM me.

i am planning a session w/ Jenerations - im shy too being practically naked (!) w/ a photog LOL so my sis (my MOH) is planning it w/ her and all of our BMs! Maybe do the same - make a day of it and have fun

I don't think we need to commit right away, she just curious around how many people would want to come/if they would want their hair/makeup done...to give us an idea of price and such. So if you think you're interested I can count you in..just let me know about the hair/makeup!
