i know that we all love talking about babies & when we would like to have them. i also know that everyone has that one annoying person who nags them all the time about having kids.
so who is it? who's the one always asking when you & FH are going to have kids??
-my SIL is the worst with this. i think FH & I where engaged only a week when she started asking when we would be having kids. it shouldn't of been a surprise to me because she never enjoys today. she is always thinking about what is happening next. worst of all she now has her son (my nephew) asking when he is going to have cousins.

Re: babies
See with us it's the opposite at least for right now. We are a bit younger and everyone knows how in love I am with babies and how I cannot wait to be a mom. They also know that I would prefer to stay home once a mom. So, we need to make sure we are at a place where we can live on FH's salary alone. Until then I haveee to be patient lol. I know though that year's going to roll around when everyone else is begging us to hurry up then and then I'm going to laugh. But hopefully I'll already secretly be pregnant by then hahaha.

Re: babies
Definitely my FSIL too! She wants us to have kids like right now, even though she got married last year but has 'big plans' and doesn't see herself having kids any time soon. She even told me recently that she wants me to 'get knocked up' on my honeymoon and I should just forget to pack my bc pills. I was speechless! It's none of her business.

Re: babies
Thank goodness FH already has a child because otherwise I'd be getting it from EVERYWHERE...
...I figure she buys me 2 years of hassle-free life.

my mom tells us & everyone else not to have kids. she says there expensive & she has not gotten a good night sleep in 32 years (my brother is 32). lol.
i also think that its because my brother & SIL have 3 babies. (ages 2, 5 & 7) if my mom isn't working she is helping with them so that baby itch isn't there.
but i am sure that once FH & I are expecting everyone will be happy for us. i know that since FH is an only child, FMIL will like us to have kids once we are married.

I am still on the young side so no one has been stalking me about it (at least not to my face). I think FMIL will be the first to start stalking us.

Re: babies
FSIL has asked me already about when we plan to have kids, but she didn't say it in an annoying way. My co-worker has also asked, but she didn't really annoy me when she said it.
I think once we're married people will start asking A LOT and then we will get really annoyed about it.

Re: babies
FMIL..
she has been nagging us about it since years before we got engaged...she is dying for grandchildren. FH is the youngest by a lot...his sister is 9 years older and his brother is 14 yrs older....but neither are married or have children so FMIL is putting all her hopes on us

Re: babies
I think my FH is the only one bothering me on this topic. We both still live with our parents and we're not moving in together until a few months before the wedding. I keep saying that I want to enjoy being married and living together for at least 2 years. I'm just not in the mindframe to have a baby yet. If I follow that timeline I'll be 28. I think that's a good age. He wants kids right away. Too bad for him, I'm not coming off the pill LOL

Re: babies
I am so glad that my brother and my SIL had their first child last year. So my mom is basking in the enjoyment of my nephew's walking talking and creating havoc!! So no pressure there from her.
As for my in-laws, I think they enjoy the fact that they don't have grand kids. I think they enjoy their freedom. FH's sister is against marriage and does not want to have children. FH wants kids, but he has always told me, don't expect my parents to pressure us into having kids. They kind of enjoy their life and if we have kids great, if we don't they won't be that disappointed.
Now my grandma, who doesn't live here can't wait for me to get married and have kids.

Re: babies
my mom... my dad freaks, but my mom wants to be a grandma like yesterday. She desperately wants a grandson since she never had a boy and wanted one. I will do my best for her to have one or two of each
