Absolutely not, and if some jack a$$ is dumb enough to bring a baby to my ceremony I will throw down!

Yes. It really doesn't bother me. If the baby starts crying I think it's common sense for a parent to walk him/her outside. I'm not concerned.

Ditto! There weren't many- maybe 1 or 2 and they didn't make a peep the whole time!
ETA: Also, I don't think you really have a say in who attends your ceremony. There were several people who were not invited to the reception but attended the ceremony anyway.

absolutely! I love children and I realize its hard enough for people to get a babysitter for the reception so we are totally cool with them bring them to church!

Re: Babies at Ceremony?
i'm only having 4 kids at the wedding - two of them are about a year old ... i'm going to speak with their parents ahead of tiem and tell them that if the kids cry, they must walk away. i know it's common sense for them to do this, but i find a lot of parents don't have common sense (especially one of these women)

Re: Babies at Ceremony?
I am not worried about babies at the ceremony. My church has a crying room so if the baby starts crying they will go in there.

two BABies (3 months and 17 months) and a few kids... FH has some young cousins (4, 8,) and my FG and RB. plus I invited my BP with kids... so maybe another 4 yo and 25 month old...
fine with me. I love kids and always feel bad when they cry (i'm not the type to get upset or annoyed about it)

Nope no and definitely not...coz if I let one baby in there'd be a huge amount of them and I know that my own kid doesn't behave a good chunk of the time...I don't want to have to worry about other people's kids.

Yes, my niece was 5 months old and didn't make a sound. There were a lot of children at the wedding and I don't remember any of them causing any problems during the ceremony or reception; just my FG was super cranky for her entrance at the reception, nothing else.

I would never tell someone they couldn't bring their baby.
