This is still one thing I haven't bought yet. What is everyone's opinion on this? Is it really necessary? Should I buy 1 right away, or is it something you wait a couple of months and then buy it? I've heard nothing but great things about it so I just thought I'd ask! Thanks!
I have a sling and am just going to start using it now. I would check the age range of the carrier and use that as a guide if you should get one now or not.
We got the snugli grow with me carrier... DH really wanted this. I don't think i'll ever use it, but he's really excited to.
I got the Baby Bjorn carrier, however I haven't used it yet... Once she comes in April I will be using it often as will my husband. I have a few friends that have it and love it.
I was given a baby bjorn from my cousin, who never used it. Turns out, I didn't use it either, and by the time I tried to use it (we were going to a parade), she hated it, as it was too restricting. But, maybe she'll like it when she can face outwards. I don't know - it's up to you.
I think Im the only person who doesnt like the Baby Bjorn. I have one and I have never used it. Actually I used it once. I did try though but Luke never liked it and truthfully, I found it uncomfortable. I got a sling and was so much happier with it. He was sick a few weeks ago and I had him in it while I did some things around the house and it was still comfy - he weighs 25 lbs! When they are smaller you can hold them in front in the sling.
