Re: BABY FEVER
My FH is experiencing this and I want to smack him.
Maybe after wedding stress passes that will change for me.
I would wait a bit esp with so many new babies in the family. I'd want to learn from what other people are doing right and.... wrong.

Re: BABY FEVER
Sometimes I definitely feel the baby fever and Im not even married yet.. then other times.. when FH and I are alone playing cards...playing the WII or just quietly watching tv..Im like...'wow..we wouldn't be able to do this with a baby'...Then the fever goes away.
However... I'll be 32 when I get married.. All the women in my family went through menopause in the mid to late 30s..my dr. said I may also...so Im kind of 'forced' into having babies right away!!
Stinks!!

Re: BABY FEVER
i have baby fever and i'm only 24!!
FH and I went to Disney in December and the ENTIRE trip my clock was ticking like crazy. being around all those kids and babies.
it's died down a little now since fittings for my dress will be starting soon. I know we wont be ready for kids for another 5 years but part of me wants them sooner

Re: BABY FEVER
i have serious baby fever, and so does DH, but we will wait until we are settled into a house first. we're also a little older (i'm 32 and DH is 38) so ideally we would like the first one by the time DH is 40, but we just don't see that happening.
i also work near central park, so during my lunch hour i walk through the park, and it is the worst place to go if you have baby fever of any kind (and doggy fever too, which i also have!).

OMG, he's so cute! we're in a small place too, so no more pets of any kinds until we have a house. we'll def have more pets before kids. this is what i want.

We both have baby fever! Fh is DYING for a baby right away. He keeps saying 'lets make a HM baby!' I want one too, but at the same time, I want to travel with Fh and enjoy being married. We've decided to wait until next summer to start trying..but who knows if we'll last that long!

Re: BABY FEVER
I definitely have baby fever as well. My biological clock is really ticking now that I'm into my 30s. Once the obsession with the wedding planning ends, the baby making obsession will begin!!

Re: BABY FEVER
i have it sooo bad.. that sometimes its upsetting b.c i know right now is just not the time.. DH wants to wait at least a year till we are more $$ stable & i totally agree we dont have 2 pennies to rub together let alone $ for a baby. But sometimes i just feel like it will never be the perfect time so why not now but i guess we should really not live under my parents roof first

not even a little bit . I want another fur baby , like this
Can I give you guys a little advice from a mom? My daughter is 6. I had her when I was 24. I have ZERO regrets at all having her so young, the only thing that I have to say is that you should DEFINITELY have some one on one time with FH & DH's as a married couple before having babies. Once the baby comes, life revolves around them... Just my opinion...but I wanted to share....

Re: BABY FEVER
You can still enjoy yourself on vacation while being preggo! I was about 4-5 months when I went to Hawaii and we were still about to do everything we originally planned to (excpet the zipline hahaha)

Re: BABY FEVER
Ok I have a 5 1/2 yr old now and I am 24. Be glad you dont have kids yet. i love my soon to death however my FH is not his real dad so My FH and I never got that 'honeymoon' period. I wish we did sometimes we never get that much 'alone' time and we cant just go and do what we want when we want to. In someways i am grateful for i know my marriage will last for we experience what most people dating or just married with no kids yet haven't and going through what we go through and still want to be married lol i know it will work no matter what. However as i said i still wish sometimes we had that period of just us. Be grateful for it and having kids is very expensive so travel and remodel homes now so when your kids do come you are 110% ready willing and able!

Re: BABY FEVER
sort of but not really badly...i think about it but more about having one in about 2 years or so not right now...Infact i dont want one right now. I know everybody says its never the perfect time but until we finish with selling this place, getting a new place i cant even think about it. And me being out of work yeah theres no way right now. It'll never be the perfect time but this is just a horrible time
DH is having some baby fever though. He has mentioned having a baby when he is 30 uhmmm he is turning 30 this february lol. I think some of it has to do with his father had him when he was 30. But also saw how he was when we went to his friends house 4th of july who have a 6 month old daughter, she was an angel and so cute although he had mentioned this even before that and said he wouldnt mind if it happened soon. But at the same time he also knows its not the greatest time right now.
I cant wait until the day comes that i do have a baby but i dont want the day to come too soon lol. I really look forward to it, but i want us to get more settled. Plus i really want us to enjoy some time to ourselves and enjoy being newlyweds. I mean for 22 months we were planning a wedding, it was always about saving money, spending money cautiously, and basically just alot of focus on the wedding. Now that its over i want us to focus on just eachother and our relationship. If we had a baby now it would've gone from all the focus on the wedding now on the baby, we need some 'US' time. I want to be able to travel a bit, Dh wants to go to vegas for his 30th, plus there are other trips we want to take. I want to have a period of time where were finally settled, and be able to go out to dinners alot like we used to, travel, even small things like shopping lol and spend some on ourselves.
Whatever happens though will happen, dont want to plan an exact time to have a kid, dont want to set myself up for disappointment but hopefully we'll get some of our newlywed alone time.
