baby fever or scared to death?
I have baby fever but I know we are so not ready yet. Every time I see a baby or hear one I go nuts. Thing is i think my husband is even more ready than me. Originally we said that we would wait 2 years to start ttc but now hes always saying a year from now. I want one more than life itself but I want to make sure that we are ready in every way possible. Anyone else out there confused about this..feel it so much but really scared too? Not to mention I am sooooooooooo afriad of pain its not even amusing...when I get a blood test I faint each and every time..how would i handle this?!?! lol

Re: baby fever or scared to death?
I dont think you can ever be ready for a baby in every way. I'ts just not quite that simple. But once you and dh decide to go for it, you'll know it feels right. As far as the pain factor, by the time 35 weeks rolls around you wont care how it comes out just get it out!!!!! I was terrified of labor with all the horror stories I had heard. Women love to tell you how godawful there experience was. I cannot figure out why...Women were built to handle extreme situations, Have no doubt you would handle this too!! even with your low pain tolerance.
As a new mom, Evem if it hurt a thousand times more than it did, I am soooooooo glad I did it and would do it again in a heartbeat, or at least in a couple of years!!!

Re: baby fever or scared to death?
I agree, I don't think anyone is ever REALLY ready. DH and I both knew that we wanted to get pg after being married. And now that I'm pg, I'm very excited, happy and grateful for this miracle and blessing. People ask me if I'm scared for the labor and delivery and I usually answer 'no, I'm more scared about parenting and raising the child'.So, I think most days I wonder if DH and I can really do a good job, but I guess there's no point in worrying about it. We will just give our children all the love they need, and take the rest day by day.
