baby fever...UPDATED

its badddd!!! i didnt get my period last month and its abuot 4 days late this month...i took home tests and they are negative but my mom took home test with both my bro and i and were neg as well im goin to the doc next week to get a real test....i was hopin not to have a baby till after the weddin but in a way i am hopin i am preg now i want a baby sooooo bad!!!!


does anyone know how long it takes to get the results from the doctor? are they immediate?

I don't want to deflate your hopes, but if you got a neg. pg test after your missed period , then the chances are pretty good you are not pregnant. I don't know how accuarate the HPT s were when your mom was pregnant, but they are almost 100% accurate these days after a missed period. I would definitely go to the dr. though, not getting your period for over a month should be something you get checked out.

I did 2 at home tests AND 1 with the doctor, all came out negative.

PS. my son is 11 months old now!!

The Dr. test results are instant. Pee in the cup...they stick the paper in it
and done. You'll find out that instant. Good luck!

im gonna go with the blood test...cause the pee thing i did at home already and in my family the results hardly show on the home ones we need the blood tests

It may take up to days after missed periods to find out if you are PG with a home PG test.

If dr. does a blood test. It takes a few days. They will know from the count in your blood.

if your only a few days late i wouldnt stress AS much...im over a month late....i dont really trust the home test ALOT of girls have had neg results at home and after the blood test found it was positive

Since you are over a month late you would be 8 weeks pregnant because the count starts from your last mentrual period. If you are pregnant then you will most likely have a sonagram and see the heartbeat .

what ever you do, err on the side of caution and eat well and don't drink or take medications until you get your results!!!
