I have very thin, fine hair too. The trick is to not wash it before hand. So make the last time you wash it like the morning BEFORE your wedding......so if you're getting married Saturday, wash it Friday morning.

Also, you can always have extensions put in as well to help hold it.

My hair is extremely thin. The not washing it has never worked for me because then it just looks flat and oily. I am def going to have a ton of extensions to try and make it look fuller and keep the curl.

my hair is baby fine and my hair person actually said that I should wash it the morning of my wedding

if they tease it and spray it enough it will stay up!

Now i have the Extra hair extensions are you just having them pin them into your wedding hair? Or are you actually getting them like sewn in?

The not washing thing really doesnt do much for my hair either I swear anytime i get an updo withen like 3 -4 hours i see bobby pins falling out behind me! And since we are night ceremony and wedding and doing pictures before hand, i need to get my hair done around noon that day, and i am really terrified that by the time it is time to say our vows 7pm, its gonna be hanging all over the place, lol.

I have very fine and thin hair (I have alopecia). I had a hair trial on Sunday and I loved the way that it came out. I am wearing an up-do.

They told me to wash it the day before. I am getting extensions (bobby pinned in) for that way to make it all look fuller. And then after the wedding I am going to go back and they are going to sew clips onto the extensions so that whenever I want longer fuller hair I can just clip them right in!

They order the extensions and then dye them to match your hair etc. After the wedding she is going to cut them to match in with my haircut too.

Something to think about. I have friends that have done it and they continue to wear the extensions to other parties.

My hair is very fine... what i did was not wash it the morning of... i just wet it so that it got curly all the again (i straighten it all the time) and let the stylist do what she wanted with the wet hair... (she arrived just as i was getting out of the shower at 5:30am )

She put so many pins and spray in my hair that it did not go anywhere the whole day! so i really wouldnt worry too much... they work with all types of hair and know what they are doing

i dont have baby fine hair but my hair usually never freckin stays. i had a trial sunday and it worked out great but she also suggested that if ur hair is hard to stay or curl or whatever to wash ur hair 2 days before and let it air dry but put moose in it... and it will stay when they do it

I dont have fine hair...but when I coached cheerleading we used to have to curl ALL of the girls hair..and many of them had pin straight fine hair. If they didn't wash it for 1 or 2 days before and didn't put ANY product in it, then it was good to go. Whatever you do though- dont use detangler- for some reason it made the girls hair NOT stay,
