I am reseaching baby monitors. I am having a hard time. I like the Angelcare, but I don't want the false alarms you get with it.
We have a very small house, one level. Our bedroom will adjoin the babies room.
Can anyone recommend a monitor that you would think would be appropriate for our situation.
TIA, Denise

Re: Baby Monitors, HELP!
i am confused about what type of monitor you are looking for. One that you leave in the babies room and one in your room, so you can hear when the baby is awake?

Re: Baby Monitors, HELP!
I have the safety 1st tv monitor one. I love it, I can see if the baby is just moving around and getting comfortable ro needs me to go in. I also have one that goes in the baby's room and the other half goes in my room (it is sound only). They are both Safety 1st. Make sure your rooms are not too close together for the sound only monitirs, because you can get static.

Re: Baby Monitors, HELP!
We have the Fisher Price 900 MHz Long Range monitor.
Aidan was in his room at about 3 weeks, so this came in handy. The long range allowed us to also hear him if we were on the porch.
We haven't used it in a while though, because I can hear him pretty much throughout the house.
But when the nice weather comes we'll be using it again to sit outside.

I have the Ultra Clear Monitor by Graco. WE live in a one bedrron apartment and never have a problem with any static. There are also a few couples in our building that have babies, and we never pick them up on our monitors.
