i am almost 18 weeks pregnant and still have not even felt the slighest flutter. I sometimes feel a little pressure and minor discomfort on the sides of my stomach when standing up. Most websites say that I should feel the baby move between 14-22 weeks. Can some of you tell me when you first felt the baby move? I am getting very worried. TIA:

Re: Baby moving question
I don't think there's any reason for concern yet. Alot of women don't notice the first movements until later on.
I felt the baby very early on (14 wks) but I know my friend who is due in August didn't feel her baby until about 20 weeks.
I'm sure you'll be feeling your baby very soon!

Re: Baby moving question
first movement i felt @ 16 weeks...but it was very sporadic. Now @ 19 I feel it much more on a daily basis.... I wouldn't worry - the pressure is probably the baby moving onto your bladder or a muscle - that's movement in itself

Re: Baby moving question
I felt her early because she is so big and active. I felt her kick at 15 weeks and my dh felt her at 17.5 weeks. I felt her a lot more at 20 weeks and then it has been constant ever since. I hope that helps.

Re: Baby moving question
Definitely try not to worry. I am almost 20 weeks and just started feeling the baby (or so I think). I never felt flutters or bubbles or anything like that. And like I said I think what I feel is the baby but who knows for sure. I am waiting for that kick to know for sure Your placenta could be lying in front which will take longer for you to feel movements.
