Baby names?

I know if all goes well one of the biggest problems I'm going to have with my DH is the baby's name. I remember when we were naming our pet's we couldn't agree on anything. My poor kitten (arielle) didn't have a name for about 2 weeks. I don't want this happen with the baby! So, I better start narrowing names down now.

I think all the names you picked are really really nice. My favs are Aidan (one of my personal favs too) and Sophia Elizabeth.

LOL we never decided on a girl's name. Thank God we had a boy.

We're not sure of any girls names yet.
It is hard to think of names you both like and then try to match it so it sounds good with your last name.

I am still pushing for Lola but h'es not budging which is making me mad.

Jenny, I love Isabella. I had a dream about a month ago that I had a baby girl and her name was Isabella. Ever since I love that name.

I think all the names you girls pick sound great. Sometimes when the baby is born just by looking at him/her you might say 'she or he looks like ____'.

thanks Kathi - I must admit, I secretly think she'll end up being Isabella. I have always loved that name and it goes really nicely with our last name. I just wish it wasnt so common!

We talk about names all the time. Right now we have:


Jonda Lynn (after my MIL)
Gina Nicole (because I want a little Italian girl :)


Timothy Joseph (after my DH and my dad)

Noah 'something'

But who knows what we'll think when we actually get to that point. I also really like Sophie.

But, I also wanted to say I love Lola too....my cherished great Aunt (who is no longer with us was always called Lola for short...her given name was Columbia.

I love the name Isabella!!

My sister names my neice Isabella Grace! We call her Bella for short!

I LOVE Amelia. Not only is it one of my most favorite people (my great aunt) but it is so pretty and not super common, but also not weird.

and of course if DH would just give in I would like Steven or Thomas 'Tommy' but alias....he hasn't caved in just it. I doubt he will. My poor baby will not have a name for weeks at this rate.

I love Amelia...and she'll have a book to relate to 'Amelia Bedelia'

Sophie is my aunts name...I love it...

and Isabel is DH's grandmothers, aunts, niece, cousins name...so you get the picture...I love it...but there are too many of them... they all go by 'Isa' for short...('EEsa')

I love the name Isabella as well, if we are fortunate enough to have an other child I am partial to the name Michaela Isabella

I absolutely fell in love with the name Madeleine ever since I was a little girl... I actually wanted it to be my name at one point.

I also love the names Antoinette and Veronica (my great-aunts names)... and I also love Katherine.

But if it were a boy, his name would have been Vincent Michelangelo...

But since we're having a girl, she'll be Madeleine Katherine... she was going to be Madeleine Rayne but I thought she would think her parents were a bunch of crazy hippies... so DH opted for that to be our little name that we'll call her... Our little Maddy Rayne...
